The Ekka is for Kids, Couples and (Grand)Parents to enjoy, which is fair enough, but the Barracks can please us all!

Good food, good wine ,I know I will have a better time. So I will skip ekka 2010 to be at the Caxton Street end!!!!

A fab story comparing the Ekka to The Barracks. I had a smile on my face from start to finish. I usually let the kids go once we’re inside the gate and go and sit at the ring (and watch cows). At a pre-arranged time, I meet up with the kids at the gate and we go home. This year I’m going to drop them off at the Ekka, head on over to The Barracks for a browse and a coffee(may even see a movie), then pick the kids up from the gate at home time. WOW – what an idea !

  6. Leah says:

would much rather spend my day at the Barracks shopping, seeing a movie and eating great food instead of the headache that is the ekka.

  7. Belinda Haynes says:

Crowds of people with colds & flus, deep fried food and overpriced everything….I can think of a million reasons I’d rather be at the Barracks!

  8. A says:

The dilemma! Ekka crowds, expensive parking, queues, cholesterol laden food versus The Barracks… Undercover parking, healthy gourmet lunch, afternoon coffee and movie. A ‘no brainer’ and without the precautionary cold and flu tablet!
