The Barracks has 2 double passes to The Broncos vs Raiders game on Sunday 12th June, at Suncorp Stadium, to give away to 2 lucky winners!!
However this is no lucky draw competition… we want you to really think about your entries, the best 2 entries will win!
Tell us what would you give up to win tickets to see the Broncos in action?
We know there more than just a few die hard footy fans out there, and we want you to impress us with your entries.. so be creative…
I would give up my cupcake maker, which is my favorite thing at the moment, which means I will be giving up my Sunday baking to see the Broncos.
I could however give up my little dog Austin who is a Pug X Staffy if that interests you more!
I’d give up work, cleaning, paying the bills, the gym, hard work, church, clean speaking and all vegetables.
I’d give up hot chips – and I REALLY love hot chips.. Skinny chips, fat chips, salty chips, soggy chips, chips that have fallen on the floor and long surpassed the 2 second rule. I REALLY LOVE CHIPS!!! What was the question again?
To see the Broncos flog the Raiders
I’d give up wrestling aligators
and Vikings that are mean and green
are slain when they face my Bronco team.
I’d give up tackling Panthers and Eels
they’d probably get beat by baby seals
and who knew that Tigers could be so slack?
Purring like kitties in my lap.
I’d give up destroying Knights in armour
no stronger than a baby llama
and Titans made of nought but sand
as they fall at the Broncos’ hand.
I’d give up swimming with Sharks that roar
hardly related to Spielberg’s Jaws
and no Cowboy ever won a showdown
when they meet our Broncos at Suncorp at Sundown.
I’d give up eating Roosters plucked
When they meet the Broncos-they’re really…down on their luck!
and Rabbitoh stew-it tastes so fine
but I’d give that up aswell to sit at Suncorp and unwind.
Giving up a Bulldog would usually be sad
but they give the ball up so much it isn’t that bad
And I’d give up soaring with Sea Eagles in flight
but on the field they don’t seem to put up much of a fight.
Now slaying Dragons is a mighty fine past-time
but it’s usually all over for them at half-time
And Warriors are easy to give up too
when they come to Suncorp and the Broncs win the blue.
And when a mighty Storm rages above the suncorp ground
just down from the barracks, Broncos supporters abound
and after the game we can often be seen
hanging out at the Barracks, after “barracking” for our team!
At the end of the day who cares who’s in or who’s out?
Meet me back at the barracks-it’ll be your shout!
I just love watching my Broncos give it their all
