The Barracks is putting out a call for 10 avid movie lovers to review the latest releases at the Palace Barracks Cinemas in January and February! The 10 winners will be invited along with a friend to a screening of Weekend from January 26, PLUS $30 each to spend at the Palace Barracks Bar. One of the lucky winners will also receive an invitation to the preview screening of Late Bloomers PLUS double passes to see two more movies of their choice in February! This year’s Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF) at The Barracks will once again showcase an exciting collection of groundbreaking, hilarious, and inspiring films. From edge-of-your-seat action to passionately romantic tales, the program is packed with the best of international cinema. Opening with English comedy Attack the Block, and closing with Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar’s new film, The Skin I Live In (starring Antonio Banderas), the program (from November 3–13) is set to challenge and entertain audiences.
